Sgt Adam's 3rd Great Grandfather served In an Indiana unit during the Civil War. Old Sarge had trouble counting so high but sure looks like six generations of military service.

Two items of good news. Adam will be visiting home on leave and it is now Sergeant (E-5) Adam. Congratulations Adam!

So how's it going? I'm still doing pretty good. We leave in a couple of days by plane. Should be interesting. Not a whole lot going on still. Just little things like handing out ammo and stuff. We're all ready to get there and get set up in our two man room trailers and not have to live out of a bag anymore or have to walk to the outhouse or shower. I think everyone here is bored out of their minds. No one really goes out durring the day unless they have to.

There really isn't much to talk about right now. Or without giving classified info out. Whenever we get set up and I can hook my computor up to the internet, I'll publish my site and you can see pics of stuff. I've been experimenting with my movie program and made a couple that I'll have to send to you.

Well, I'm in Iraq. We flew in on a C-130. That was and interesting flight. Not bad though. They come in really high and then do a spiral down ontop of the airport so as not to get shot at. It is a few degrees cooler here and a little humid because of all the water around. I'll send pics once we get internet in our rooms. Right now we have free internet in the MWR building, but you only get a half hour. Well, I gotta send one to ma. I'll talk to you later.
