THE BATTLE CONTINUES

If we look at the loss of many of our freedoms, liberties and prerogatives over the last forty years we will find that many were lost in the courts not at the ballot box. We will note that it has become the practice of an activist judiciary to "find" in our Constitution provisions to support their agenda rather than to test the question against the Document itself, the expressed intentions of its authors and the laws passed by a representative legislature. Many wish to call the Constitution a "living document." Their contention is that it must change to fit whatever the pop culture may feel proper at the time. Foreseeing this inclination, the writers provided an exacting method to amend the Constitution.

We must watch closely how our representatives vote as appointments to the judiciary are made and debated. This page will be devoted to that end. Each nominee will be assigned an individual page. Votes will be tracked Let us keep up the pressure. They work for us, although some of them have forgotten.
